Do I need to make the reservation in advance?

Not quite necessary, but Yes, if you make the reservations in advance we would be able to assist & serve you better, since it would allow us to arrange everything to your specification.

How can I get my homestay accommodation booked through www.doonhomestays.com

We have the reservation form listed on the site for that click here go to our reservation section. Alternatively you may also call us or fill in the contact us form here and leave your number so we may get in touch with you.

What payment apply to hosts for bookings mediated through doonhomestays.com?

The bulk of your payment would be benefited by the host family. You can make the booking on the doonhomestay.com and there will be no booking charges. Guest would not require to pay any amount to the host since the local coordinator would be handling the payments.The payment needs to be made to the coordinator in full advance on the first day of the stay with the host.

How do I receive an invoice for payments?

The invoice for the payment would be given on the very same moment the fees are paid and a copy of invoice would be send through e-mail too within the next 24 hours.

Can I extend my stay with the same host?

Yes, you can extend your stay with your host to any number of days however the payment needs to be made in advance prior to the completion of the first booking; the extension has to be done through www.doonhomestays.com helpdesk and its coordinator not with the host.

What about transportation?

Your host will carefully teach you the best transportation route from your homestay to all the local places by taking you there on the first day at your cost where ever transportation is required. Your host will not be responsible for providing transportation for you.

May I move into my homestay early?

Yes. Your homestay room will be available if you intend to move in early nonetheless we request you to let us know about your early move-in three days before your actual move-in date, so that we can set up the necessary arrangement for you.

Do you organise sightseeing?

Most of the popular tourist locations are best explored by you. We will be happy to assist or arrange for sightseeing or vehicles on prior request.

What are the check-in and check-out timings

Check-in: 2 p.m Check-out: 12 pm If it’s an unseen circumstance we'd definitely oblige of course keeping in mind other guests needs.

Do you allow pets?

Domesticated/Trained/ People friendly pets are allowed. Aggressive Dog breeds not allowed. Also, if given prior notice, we could oblige, based on feasibility.
